Website Relaunch: New Theme, New Direction February 13, 2026

spaceshipadventures.com has been fully rebuilt to reflect the Hoshi no Isan pivot. New theme. New pages. New navigation. Everything aligned with the Japanese space visual novel we're actually building.

The Hoshi Theme

We've replaced the old CleanStart template with a custom Hoshi design — deep navy backgrounds, gold accents, subtle starfield textures, and a clean, minimal layout. The dark theme mirrors the game's aesthetic: contemplative, Japanese-influenced, space-focused. No more carousels, no more decorative triangles, no more legacy markup. Just content.

New Ship Pages

The Ship dropdown is no longer just anchor links to sections on one page. Each topic now has its own dedicated page with unique content:

  • JAXA Missions — The six missions that built the Yamabiko: Hayabusa, Hayabusa 2, Kaguya, Akatsuki, SLIM, and the Japanese ISS legacy. Each with full backstory and ship location.
  • The Crew — The six initial crew members: Hana Mukai, Kenji Mohri, Yuki Wakata, Ren Hoshide, Sora Noguchi, Hayato Itokawa. Rarity tiers, ancestor lineages, personalities.
  • The Yamabiko — The ship layout. Every compartment, every deck, every mission-named space. Environmental storytelling at a glance.

Updated Pages

About the Project and Developer pages have been rewritten with Hoshi no Isan content. The roadmap page has been retired — development updates now live in this Dev Journal. Footer, navigation, and sitemap have all been updated.

What's Preserved

Legacy blog posts remain accessible under /blog/legacy/. The education, game-info, news, and solar-system sections have been moved to /legacy/ for archival. Old links redirect where appropriate. Nothing is lost — we've just clarified what's current and what's archive.

If you're reading this, you're seeing the new site. Welcome.
