High Concept Document - SpaceShip Adventure

Last Updated: November 28, 2025 -- Written by Jerome Heuze

Exploring space has been a dream for mankind for a long time. SpaceShip Adventure project is a true simulation designed to make each player be part of something bigger. The cabin of 2-4 crew will embark on great adventures exploring the solar system and beyond. They will learn by playing actual astrophysics and astronomy concepts if they choose too or just defend our solar system from invaders by stopping their relentless attacks.

Features:

This space simulation game has 2-4 players defined by 4 distinct roles - Captain Pilot, Ship Engineer, Support Engineer, and Navigator/Tactical Officer. Each will have its own console to control; the team will be completing each mission in a lapse of 20 minutes to 2 hours. The game/simulation will teach astrophysics, astronomy, teamwork, decision making as a group, and being able to handle stress under difficult situations. There will be in-ship missions, in-ship training, online access to profile and mission descriptions via website and mobile, online learning about astronomy and game training for leveling and gaining ranks, patches distribution for jackets, illuminated badges, pins and patches for special missions and rankings.

The cabin will have sound effects, and a real-time feedback system. The windows of the ship will actually be TV screens showing space/environment around the spaceship. The player will be immersed in space. The team decides what to do - there will be some open missions or cruise mode and some missions will be linear due to the nature of teaching some astronomy concepts.

World Description:

The starting world will be the Earth vicinity and our solar system; expansions will be extended to our solar system (visual range of exploration) and Milky Way galaxy arms. More galaxies will be explorable at some point.

Story Modes & Campaigns:

The Fall of Prime Origin - Main Campaign

Year 2145 - The Great Betrayal

In the year 2145, humanity's greatest tragedy unfolded. Prime Origin—what we once called Earth—was destroyed in a cataclysmic event that shook the very foundations of human civilization across the galaxy. For over a century, humanity had spread across the Milky Way, establishing thriving colonies and outposts. Generations had been born among the stars, and many had forgotten their ancestral homeworld.

The destruction of Prime Origin wasn't just an attack on a planet—it was an assault on human identity itself. The Astralis Dominion, once trusted allies, revealed their true nature as they systematically began conquering human colonies. Their advanced technology and ruthless tactics caught humanity unprepared. Entire worlds fell within days, their populations either enslaved or exterminated.

You are receiving this transmission from Captain Alva Chen, commander of the resistance vessel Phoenix Rising. Her message echoes across the void: "I am one of the last survivors of the Nova Colony massacre. The Astralis Dominion doesn't just want our worlds—they want to erase our very existence. But we will not go quietly into the night. Join me, and together we will reclaim what was stolen from us. We will rebuild, we will resist, and we will remember."

Story Mode Types:

1. The Resistance Campaign

Objective: Lead guerrilla operations against Astralis Dominion forces across multiple star systems.
